The Prince of Darkness OZZY OSBOURNE is laid to rest today. This is one of the saddest days in the history of our beloved musical genre. Without Ozzy and Black Sabbath, there for sure would also be no KIT. In our whole community we feel a deep loss, like a close member of the family has died. There is no perfect way to honour this legend. The Back To The Beginning show was actually the best sent off ever in music history. But we today spontaneously decided that we want to pay our tribute to Ozzy at Keep It True Rising V - The Final Chapter by printing and giving away memorial buttons FOR FREE for everyone who is coming to the festival. We will offer you some design suggestions very soon and then you can vote which button we should produce for you. Just to make it clear, this is a non profit thing just to honour the life and legend of OZZY, the buttons will be handed out to everyone for free who enters the venue. ![]()

Today 22 years ago it all started. KEEP IT TRUE Festival was born. It was the hottest day of the year and we sweated our asses off. We had no clue how to organize a show back then and there was a lot of chaos. But look where we are now, its still like a dream to me, that I never want to wake up from. Today there are lifelong friendships, relationships and marriages originating on meetings at KIT. It makes me so proud. And still, its not a festival for old farts, there are so many young fans attending now, a complete new generation, because despite the old school theme of KIT I always have to re-invent it to a certain extend every year to keep it fresh and not irrelevant. It seems to work because yesterdays Totális Metál announcement gained way over 1000 likes on Instagram alone, a big number for an underground fest like us. I am so grateful for all the support from everyone throughout these 22 years, its outstanding and unique. And trust me, the Totalis Metal announcement yesterday was only the beginning of big announcements to come for 2026. More very soon!!
