Hello Friends,unfortunately PARADOXX had to cancel their show at KEEP IT TRUE Festival in April 2025. Their guitar player Gary has some health issues that are preventing him from being able to continue playing guitar and traveling as well. We are very sorry to hear this and wish him all the best on his recovery. BUT we have an amazing replacement for you. Another band that will play their very first show in Europe. We are happy to announce, that the amazing US Metal legends DAMIEN will be playing at KEEP IT TRUE in April 2025. Their first two albums „Every Dog Has its day“ and „Stop This War“ are genre classics and we are honored that the guys will play their first ever European show at KIT. Hello Friends,today we are extremely happy to announce the next band for Keep It True Rising V - The Final ChapterWings of Steel were one of the big winners of KIT April 2024. When they opened the festival at noon, the venue was completely packed. Now the guys will release their brand new album this year and so we had to get them back to KIT, this time to Rising. We had so many requests to do them again, but this time on a way better spot. We are so happy, that one of the most important young and new bands is returning home to KIT, where it all started for them. We always try to get the hottest and most exciting newcomers for you all every year and combine them with old legends, special shows and interesting acts. KEEP IT TRUE Festival

I just learned that my friend Ragne Wahlquist of the legendary Heavy Load passed away and crossed the rainbow bridge up to Valhalla. I am completely devastated! Ragne and me go back a long way. Since the creation of KEEP IT TRUE Festival l Heavy Load was one of my main goals to have them reunite. I called Ragne every few months for many years to persuade him. One day he invited me to his amazing villa close to Stockholm then. I spent a weekend with him and his family and this was the foundation of the reunion. We could finally have two shows at KIT, which for me was a similar big achievement like the Cirith Ungol reunion. He was such a kind soul in private but a total perfectionist when it came to his music, he had so many visions that were so over the top, but he always wanted the best for his fans, which he loved dearly. The meet and greets the brothers did at several KITs were legendary. I am proud he called me a real friend. He sent me a heartfelt message at Christmas Eve....and now he is gone....heartbreaking. Hello Friends,today we are extremely happy to announce the Saturday headliner for Keep It True Rising V - The Final ChapterLegendary Danish Heroes Pretty Maids will play a very special „Red, Hot And Heavy“ Set, where they play that album in its entirety plus songs of „Future World“ plus many more Greatest Hits throughout their successful career. This may be one of the last chances to hear these old classics of the first full length album performed live.
