A NEW CHAPTER IN THE HISTORY OF KEEP IT TRUE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

Some dreams take a little longer to become reality. Bringing KEEP IT TRUE to Japan has been one of those dreams for many years, and now we can finally announce the dates and locations!

Japan has always held a very special place in our hearts. It is a country where ancient traditions and modern life exist side by side, where centuries of fascinating history meet the lights of a futuristic world. A country with a unique culture, incredible hospitality, and a deep respect for art, craftsmanship, and tradition.

And, of course, Japan is also one of the most extraordinary places on earth for any passionate music collector. The holy land of record shopping, where you can spend entire days digging through countless record stores, discovering forgotten treasures, rare pressings, and records you never thought you would see in your lifetime.

But above all, Japan has a truly remarkable Heavy Metal history.

The dedication of Japanese fans, their incredible knowledge of the music, their love for the underground, and their loyalty to bands that the rest of the world sometimes seems to have forgotten – all of this represents exactly what KEEP IT TRUE has stood for since the very beginning.

Now, finally, it is our turn to bring KEEP IT TRUE to Japan!

And we couldn’t be happier to announce four very special days in November 2027:

Starting in Koenji, one of Tokyo’s most fascinating districts for underground music and record collectors, continuing with two days at the legendary Club Città in Kawasaki, and ending with a special aftershow at Serbian Night.

And speaking of Club Città – this venue is something truly special to us.

For anyone who grew up collecting Heavy Metal records in the late 80s and 90s, CLUB CITTÀ IS MUCH MORE THAN JUST A CONCERT HALL. IT IS A PIECE OF HEAVY METAL HISTORY.

Some of the most memorable live recordings of our beloved music were captured within these walls. Vicious Rumors‘ „Plug In and Hang On,“ Savatage’s „Japan Live ’94,“ Raven’s „Destroy All Monsters,“ Laaz Rockit’s „Taste of Rebellion,“ and UFO’s „Lights Out in Tokyo“ – all recorded at this legendary venue. The list goes on, with bands like Heavens Gate, Loudness, Glenn Hughes, and many others leaving their mark on its stage.

We want to bring the original KEEP IT TRUE spirit to Japan: rare performances, special shows, bands with history, and that unique atmosphere of friendship and passion that has always been the foundation of our festival.

And we want this to be more than just four days of concerts. We hope it will become an unforgettable journey for everyone joining us, an opportunity to experience Japanese culture, explore the streets of Tokyo, discover its incredible record shops, enjoy its food and traditions, and celebrate our beloved music together with our Japanese friends.

A huge thank you to our Japanese friends and partners who are helping us turn this long-held dream into reality. Without their passion, friendship, and dedication, none of this would be possible.

We sincerely hope that many of our friends from Germany, Europe, and all over the world will join us on this adventure.
