We already booked The Night Eternal for the Hammer And Iron Festival in Essen, and later brought them to the very first KEEP IT TRUE Festival RISING. Two weeks have passed since KEEP IT TRUE LEGIONS, and somehow I am still not really back to normal.I have organized KEEP IT TRUE Festival for so many years. I have experienced incredible shows, unforgettable reunions and moments I never thought would be possible when this whole journey started. But looking back now, I can say that KIT LEGIONS was probably the biggest achievement in our history.KEEP IT TRUE has always been about dreams. About believing that sometimes the impossible can become possible. About never being satisfied with simply doing what everyone expects. We have always looked for the stars – and sometimes we were lucky enough to reach them.LEGIONS was one of those moments.Putting together a festival with Savatage, Crimson Glory, Armored Saint, Metal Church, Jag Panzer , Saxon and all these other incredible bands on one weekend still feels unreal to me. These are bands that have accompanied many of us for decades. Bands whose records changed our lives. Bands we dreamed about when KEEP IT TRUE was still nothing more than an idea.And suddenly they were all there.At the same festival.I also want to be clear about one thing: this was a once-in-a-lifetime line-up. It is not something that can or should simply be repeated every year. LEGIONS was a gift – to you, to us and, in a way, to the whole KEEP IT TRUE story. We had the opportunity to make it happen, and we simply HAD to do it.Sometimes you shouldn't ask whether something is reasonable. Sometimes you have to follow your heart.And that is exactly what we did.But none of this would mean anything without YOU.For more than two decades, metal fans from all over the world have supported KEEP IT TRUE. You travel thousands of kilometres. You buy tickets before knowing the complete line-up. You trust us. You bring your friends, your families and sometimes now even the next generation. You have turned a crazy idea into something much bigger than I could ever have imagined.KEEP IT TRUE exists because of you.Seeing so many familiar faces at LEGIONS, meeting people from all over the world and feeling this incredible support and friendship throughout the weekend moved me more than I can put into words.Even now, two weeks later, I am still emotional about it.There are certain moments in life where you know, while they are happening, that you will remember them forever.KIT LEGIONS was one of those moments for me.We will continue dreaming. We will continue searching. We will continue looking towards the stars. Aside from all the happiness during last weekend we also had two cases, where we had to remove people from the festival unfortunately. One case because of violence and battery against fans and our security, the other one because of peeing in the audience, touching women and violence. Both persons will get a ban also for future KITs. We have zero tolerance for this antisocial behavior in our scene.
