Over the years, KEEP IT TRUE Festival has always been about honoring the true roots of Heavy Metal in all its forms. While our heart beats for traditional Metal, we have also proudly welcomed some of the most influential pioneers of the extreme underground to our stage.![]()

In recent years, we have hosted legendary acts and original members connected to HELLHAMMER, VENOM, MORBID and TORMENTOR—bands that helped create and shape the sound and attitude of extreme Metal as we know it today.![]()

We are happy to announce that there will be a shuttle service for KEEP IT TRUE LEGIONS from Würzburg Central Station to Geiselwind and back on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.![]()

The shuttle will be organized with 7 or 8 seater vans. A complete one-way trip costs 95 Euro total, so if the van is full, it comes down to around only 14 Euro per person.![]()

If you are interested, please send your request directly via email to Saveliner. They will organize everything for you, fill up the cars and coordinate the trips directly with all passengers.![]()

This should make traveling to KIT LEGIONS much easier for everyone coming by train.![]()

wir freuen uns, euch mitteilen zu können, dass es für KEEP IT TRUE LEGIONS einen Shuttle-Service vom Würzburger Hauptbahnhof nach Geiselwind und zurück geben wird – sowohl am Samstag, Sonntag als auch am Montag.![]()

Der Shuttle wird mit 7- bzw. 8-Sitzern organisiert. Eine einfache Fahrt kostet insgesamt 95 Euro pro Fahrzeug. Bei voller Besetzung sind das also nur etwa 14 Euro pro Person.![]()

Bei Interesse könnt ihr eure Anfrage direkt per Email an Saveliner schicken. Dort wird alles für euch organisiert, die Fahrzeuge werden gefüllt und die Fahrten mit allen Mitfahrern koordiniert.![]()

Two weeks after our KEEP IT TRUE April 2026, i finally get back to normal and also work hard on Legions in August and KIT in 2027. But also reflect on what happened two weeks ago. Even after 23 years, it all makes me so proud.![]()

KEEP IT TRUE was never about hype, trends or following what’s fashionable.![]()
![]()
From the very beginning it was about passion, loyalty and giving legendary bands and young underground acts the stage they truly deserve.![]()
![]()
What still moves me the most is seeing thousands of people from all over the world coming together because of our music. Old friends reuniting every year, new friendships being born in the crowd, younger fans discovering bands that changed our lives decades ago… that’s something incredibly special and something I will never take for granted.![]()

In a world that changes so fast, this scene still feels real. Honest. Human. And that is because of YOU.![]()

Thank you for supporting the underground, for traveling from all over the world, for believing in this festival and for keeping the spirit of true heavy metal alive year after year.![]()

I am especially super happy, that so many young fans are now attending and carry on the torch. This is what I always dreamed about to happen...and now off to book more bands for 2027 😉
